Preparation

Take the wheat flour in a thick bowl and add chilli powder, garam masala, kasoori methi, chat masala, cumin seeds, curd (for soft chapathis) and salt, oil/ghee (2 tsp) to it.

Mix all the ingredients and add water to make a dough. It should be non-sticky and soft. Keep it closed for 20 mintues.

Make small balls (lemon sized) and roll it to make thin circles. If it is little bit sticky sprinkle flour on both sides and continue.

Heat tawa in a medium flame, Toast the circles brushing ghee or oil on both sides. Do the same for all the rolls and keep it in a hot pack.

Your yummy masala chapathis are ready !! I am sure Kids will love to have and its a simple & easy breakfast & lunch too :-)

If you want chapathis to be more spicy and chatpatta, you can double the quantity of the masalas.

Here my combination is a simple green gram or moong dal dish !
